Dr. Max Singer is an author and policy analyst who consults and does public policy research for business, government, and non-governmental organizations. A Founder and Senior Fellow of Hudson Institute, he served as President of the Hudson Institute from 1965 to 1973.

Singer was educated at Colby and Columbia Colleges (B.A. 1953) and Harvard Law School (J.D. 1956).

Specialization:

The changing international order; economic development and long-term environmental protection; public policy questions related to the collapse of the Soviet Union; the uses of "informal" data (or soft statistics).

Publications:

For many years Dr. Singer’s articles have appeared in publications such as The Public Interest, Commentary, The National Interest, The Arms Control and Disarmament Journal, The New Republic, The National Review, The N.Y. Times Sunday Magazine, Reader's Digest and many newspapers.
