Dr. Zeev Bonen (Ph.D. Cambridge University) is a Senior Research Associate at the Begin-Sadat Center. Considered a founding father of Israel's military industries, Bonen was Director-General and later President of 'Rafael' - the weapons development authority of the Israeli Ministry of Defense - for most of the past forty years. Bonen has taught at Haifa University and the Israel National Defense College, has served as an advisor to the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, and today serves as a research director for the Industry Ministry's Chief Scientist.
