EFL READING/WRITING CLINIC

The EFL Unit at Bar Ilan University operates a Reading / Writing clinic. The main goal of the clinic is to facilitate, direct and assist students in their individual work:

· To provide remedial individualized instruction for weak students in addition to classroom instruction.

· To provide additional and advanced materials for highly motivated students who have been given a reduced classroom schedule during the second semester.

· To service students with specific learning problems who need specialized materials and individual attention.

· To service M.A. and Ph.D. students who need individual assistance with their written assignments.

The Reading / Writing clinic is open Sundays through Fridays, at designated times. A graduate student from the English Department is present at all times. Students are referred to the clinic either by course teachers or by level coordinators. Records of attendance and materials used are kept to serve as a record of student activities and progress.
