The Schnitzer Foundation for Research on the Israeli Economy and Society was established in 1982 at Bar-Ilan University, on the initiative of Mr. Moshe Schnitzer, then President of the Diamond Exchange. The Foundation funds academic activities in areas of economic and social research in Israel, with aim of encouraging excellence in research in these fields.
