Geoffrey Smith (M.A, Med) writes:
As a sign of solidarity I wish to apply for an honorary affiliate
appointment with the Universities of Haifa and Bar Ilan.
I have an MA degree from Cambridge and an MEd from Bristol University
I became a Research Fellow in Education.
I was a founder member of the University of Papua New Guinea as
Lecturer in Education and established an Education Planning Unit
Ministry of Education at the request of the government. Subsequently
employed by the Commonwealth Secretariat in London as an adviser
Education specializing in education planning and inspection and
conferences in the Africa and Asia Pacific regions as well as serving
Ministerial Meetings of Commonwealth Law Ministers, Health Ministers
Since my first visit to Israel in 1990 I have returned there at
times and by invitation from Professor Reuven Feuerstein I attended
Advisory Committee of the International Centre for Enhancement of
Publications include 30 articles in refereed journals, and "Educational
planning in Papua New Guinea", published by the Melbourne University
"LEA Advisers and Educational Innovation"(joint author)
Co., "Christians and Israel in Focus" CFI-UK 2005.
I am a member of the National Council Committee of the Zionist Federation
of Great Britain and licensed as Reader in the Anglican Dioceses
New Guinea, Southwark, Exeter, and Jerusalem.
I am currently employed as Deputy Director of Christian Friends
of Israel -
UK, and for the last four years I have broadcast a weekly Israel
United Christian Broadcasters and appeared on BBC radio, Revelation
local radio in Norfolk, Sussex, Leeds and the Isle of Man on programmes
related to Israel.
Referees: I am known to the following - Professor Eric Moonman,
of the ZF, and Gerry Adler formerly Adjunct Professor of International
at the Technion, Haifa.
