Norrin M. Ripsman, Associate Professor, Department of Political Science

In a message dated 5/5/2005 11:51:57 A.M. Eastern Standard Time, Professor Norrin M. Ripsman writes:

To Whom It May Concern,

I am responding to an e-mail request from the Israeli Consulate in Montreal to request affiliate status at Bar Ilan and Haifa Universities as a means of standing with these universities and their faculty members against the unacceptable boycott by the British Association of Univesity Teachers. As instructed, I have attached my CV and letters to each of the universities.

Thank you for taking care of this matter,

Norrin M. Ripsman, Ph.D.
Associate Professor,
Department of Political Science, Concordia University,

In a message dated 5/5/2005 10:52 PM. Eastern Standard Time, Professor Norrin M. Ripsman also writes:

To Whom It May Concern:

I was disgusted to hear of the British Association of University Teachers to boycott Bar Ilan University and its faculty members. To me this decision runs contrary to the spirit of the academy, which should be a depoliticized environment. Under the circumstances, I am writing to request affiliate faculty status at Bar Ilan University to stand with its faculty members against this unacceptable act of prejudice.

Sincerely,
Norrin M. Ripsman
