63 Server RoomRenovation Substantial renovations to Bar-Ilan’s server room will improve the University’s capacity for advanced, high-power computational research. Project set to be completed by the second half of 2024. Oracle ERP Migration Moving Bar-Ilan’s Oracle ERP (On Prem) Finance, HR, and purchasing system to the cloud will reduce administrative needs, improve accessibility, and allow for integration with other cloud services. Moodle Migration Uploading the University’s learning-management system to the cloud will improve student and faculty interface and ensure, in the event of an emergency, learning continuity. Portal App Development The new, fully customizable university portal app brings access to all student and faculty services into one convenient place. It also provides access to all University media, as well as alerts and updates. FormDigitization The digitization and merger of Bar-Ilan’s nearly 1,500 forms improves the efficiency of administrative services, improves coordination between departments, and frees up personnel for more meaningful activities. CRIS Optimization Improvements to Bar-Ilan’s database for faculty research activity will ensure more—and more accurate—digital attributions to Bar-Ilan publications. Along with raising the University’s profile, these attributions will lead to increased research funding from Israel’s Council for Higher Education. Website Upgrade Upgrades to more than 70 websites in the Bar-Ilan domain improved usability and SEO, enabled the integration of more media, and strengthened the University’s branding across all departments, schools, academic centers, and units.
