The marketing and business development department includes all units dealing with university marketing - the digital assets unit, advertising, and marketing, spokespersons, events, ales and branding, analysis, service, recruitment, and more.

The team situates Bar-Ilan's as a leading academic institution in research and teaching; strengthens its attractiveness among candidates, students of all degrees, lecturers, researchers, and faculty members; and bring it to the attention of the general public through research, projects, and innovations carried out on campus.

Before her current position, Naama Gat held the position of VP of Marketing with the leading companies in the economy, among others at Mizrahi-Tefahot Bank, where she led the brand merger between Mizrahi and Tefahot, the construction of the United Bank's marketing and product strategy and unique campaigns such as "Transfer Dvir" that led to the bank's significant growth.

Naama began her professional career at Strauss company, where she held several positions in the field of marketing - as a brand manager, marketing manager, and consultant. 

Naama has a master's degree in marketing and advertising from Market University in Milwaukee, USA, and a bachelor's degree in psychology and English literature from the University of Haifa.

Naama is a member of Israel's board of directors and has served on various committees for the past decade.
