Study Tracks

Single Major: At least 128 credits

At least 100 credits in the major + 20 credits in Basic Jewish Studies + elective and general courses in accordance with the department requirements, for completion of at least 128 credits.

 

Double Major: At least 128 credits

At least 54 credits in each of the departments + 20 credits in Basic Jewish Studies + elective and general courses in accordance with the requirements of the departments, for completion of at least 128 credits.

 

Structured Double Major: At least 128 credits

At least 50 credits in each of the departments + 20 credits in Basic Jewish Studies + elective and general courses, in accordance with the requirements of the departments for completion of at least 128 credits. The Structured Double Major is possible when there is an overlap in the course content of the two departments necessitating adjustments in the course schedules of the departments, which justifies a reduction in the scope of studies. The decision regarding the integration of Structured Double Majors is made by the University’s Undergraduate Teaching Committee and is approved by the University’s Central Committee.

 

Double Degree: At least 220 credits

At least 100 credits in each of the two disciplines + 20 credits in Basic Jewish Studies + elective and general courses in accordance with the requirements of the departments, for the completion of at least 220 credits. If there is affinity between the two disciplines, it is possible to reduce the scope of studies in this track to at least 192 credits.

 

Single Major with Double Major – As a post-degree program or in parallel to a degree: At least 182 credits

At least 128 credits of the double major + at least 54 credits in the subjects in the dual major track (as a post-degree program or in parallel with a degree). If there is affinity between the subjects it is possible to reduce the studies in this track to a scope of at least 168 credits.

The diploma for a post-degree program will be granted a year after receiving the degree for a single major.
