Lecturing Chinese Students in Israel about the First Lady of Qatar

Mor Shapira has been a lecturer in the Department of Arabic at Bar Ilan University, and a researcher at MEMRI (Middle East Media Research Institute) since 2019. She speaks 10 languages (Hebrew, English, Arabic, Persian, French, Italian, Spanish, Turkish, Portuguese and Swedish). Previously, she served in the 8200 IDF special intelligence unit, and later held a classified position at the Israeli Prime Minister's Office for a decade.

Behavioral Economics Research with a Strong Impact

Dr. Yoni Slater, a socio-organizational psychologist and post-doctoral researcher at Maastricht University in the Netherlands and at Bar-Ilan University (as part of an interdisciplinary research group on voluntary compliance led by Prof. Yuval Feldman), serves as a lecturer at the ultra-orthodox campus of BIU.

"I believe there is no field with greater impact on our social environment than social-organizational psychology," says Slater. “This field deals with life itself, which is why its potential impact is so great."

Revital Peled

Revital Peled is an outstanding 2012 graduate of Bar-Ilan University's Graduate Program in Organizational Consulting. In recent years, Revital has returned to the Department of Sociology and Anthropology as a lecturer in organizational consulting and social psychology.

Revital also serves as the Co-CEO of Shorashim, a company focusing on consulting and organizational development. Shorashim supports change and growth processes for business, social and public organizations, in fields as education, health, finance, high-tech, and more.

Three Gold Medals and an Honorable Mention

For the first time since Israel teams began participating in the International Olympiad in Informatics, the Israeli delegation won three gold medals and an honorable mention. Members of the delegation members received their training for the Olympiad at the Bar-Ilan University Youth Center.
