The Russell Berrie Galilee Diabetes SPHERE
The Russell Berrie Galilee Diabetes SPHERE initiative is a comprehensive project designed to transform diabetes care in Israel’s northern Galilee region, particularly among socioeconomically disadvantaged populations. The project, developed at Bar-Ilan's Azrieli Faculty of Medicine in the Galilee, aims to reduce the cases of diabetes and to improve treatment via an integrative multidisciplinary approach. The project focuses on diabetics, prediabetics, community-based healthcare providers and hospitals, researchers, and local authorities.
