Reproductive Failure Impacts Stress in Flies
Repeated failures to reproduce generates stress and frustration in fruit flies, which, in turn, negatively impacts their resilience to other types of stress. This was one of the insights found in a study led by Dr. Julia Ryvkin of the Bar-Ilan University Goodman Faculty of Life Sciences, which was published in the PLOS Genetics journal.

The studies shed light on the impact of streaming applications on the subjective evaluation of music and suggest that rediscovering the act of music collecting within the apps can significantly enhance the overall listening experience.
Prof. Eytan Gilboa Receives Lifetime Achievement Award
The Israel Association of International Studies recognized Prof. Eytan Gilboa of the Bar-Ilan University School of Communication in the Department of Political Studies with a Lifetime Achievement Award for contributions to research in international relations in Israel and abroad.
Prof. Gilboa founded and headed the School of Communication and the Center for International Communication at Bar-Ilan. He is one of the world’s leading scholars in the areas of international communication and US-Israel relations.
