Feeling Younger Can Help Us Rehabilitate Faster

As scientists gradually discover evidence that people who feel younger than their chronological age are typically healthier and more psychologically resilient, the saying "you're only as old as you feel" rings increasingly true.

Rector's Prize for Excellent Students 2022

One hundred students received awards of excellence from the rector of Bar-Ilan University on June 13. The awardees included 58 undergraduate students and 42 graduate and doctoral students.

The largest number of awardees were from the Faculty of Social Sciences, followed by the Faculty of Exact Sciences with 15 and the Faculty of Humanities with 14.

Association for Israel Studies Annual Conference

This week more than 500 scholars from four continents are arriving in Israel to participate in the Association for Israel Studies' (AIS) annual conference, taking place this year at Bar-Ilan University.

The AIS is an international scholarly society devoted to the academic and professional study of Israel. Its annual meeting is taking place on site – rather than online – for the first time in three years. 

Full Scholarships to Veteran IDF Combat Soldiers

In light of the recently passed “From Uniform to Studies" legislation, which grants a 75% scholarship of tuition fees to veteran Israel Defense Forces combat soldiers, Bar-Ilan University decided to increase the scholarship to 100% and grant free undergraduate studies to the first 100 veterans from elite units who enroll in the university.

June 27 Workshop on Advanced Materials

On June 27, Bar-Ilan University will be hosting a workshop on advanced materials in cooperation with the Israel Vacuum Society (IVS) and the Italian Embassy in Israel.

The workshop, which will discuss synthesis, characterization, properties, and applications of advanced materials, will take place from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM at Bar-Ilan's Nanocenter (Building 206).
