Assisting Ukrainian Academics

In light of the challenging situation that the Ukrainian people are now facing due to the war in their country, Bar-Ilan University has established a special fund to assist Ukrainian guest researchers, lecturers, undergraduates, doctoral students, and postdoctoral fellows who come to the university.

Honorary Doctorates for 8 Women

Bar-Ilan University will award honorary doctorate degrees this year to eight influential women in the arts, sports, science, education, and business. Among the 2022 recipients are Israeli musician Chava Alberstein, Dr. Orna Berry, one of the founders of the Israeli high-tech sector, businesswoman Julia Zaher, medalist Yael Arad, author Galila Ron-Feder-Amit and  Rabbanit Malke Bina.

Falafel HaKikar – located in Park 100 (Electra Dorms). Open Sunday-Thursday from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM, Friday from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

Angel Café & Bakery – located in Park 100 (Electra Dorms). Open Sunday-Thursday from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Friday from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Coffee Time – Located in the Law building (306). Open Sunday-Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Bar-Ilan University welcomed Bahraini ambassador to Israel Khaled Yousif al-Jalahmah, who visited the university's Institute of Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials and Kofkin Faculty of Engineering. The ambassador toured several laboratories and met with university administration, and researchers from a variety of disciplines.
