מלגת אימפקט IMPACT Scholarship

התוכנית מיועדת לחיילים וחיילות משוחררים מהמערך הלוחם בצה"ל (לוחמים ותומכי לחימה), על בסיס מצב סוציו-אקונומי נמוך. המלגה מוענקת על ידי ארגון ידידי צה"ל בארה"ב ובפנמה (FIDF), במטרה להביע הערכה לשירותם המסור לביטחון המדינה. גובה מלגת אימפקט עומד על 5000$ לכל שנת לימוד, בשילוב פעילות התנדבותית למען הקהילה בהיקף של כ-130 שעות.

כל מלגה ממומנת על ידי תורם אישי המלווה את המלגאי לאורך תקופת לימודיו לתואר. בנוסף, הארגון מלווה את הסטודנטים ומסייע להם להתפתח אישית ומקצועית, וכן בהשמה ובפיתוח הקריירה.

Scholarship Description:

The program is designed for male and female soldiers who have been discharged from combat units in the IDF (Israel Defense Forces), including both combat and combat support soldiers, and who meet specific socioeconomic criteria.

The scholarship is awarded by the Friends of the IDF (FIDF) organization based in the U.S. and Panama to express appreciation for their dedicated service to the security of Israel.

The Impact Scholarship is $5,000 per academic year, for the entire degree, combined with approximately 130 hours of community volunteer work.

Each scholarship is supported by a personal donor who mentors the recipient throughout their academic journey. Additionally, the organization offers guidance and support to help students grow both personally and professionally, including assistance with career placement and development.

לימודים לתואר ישראלי ראשון, בהיקף מלא, במוסד המוכר על יד המועצה להשכלה גבוהה, או לימודי תעודה (של שנה לפחות) במוסד לימודים המוכר על ידי משרד החינוך/ הכלכלה והתעשייה/ העבודה והרווחה/ התיירות/ התרבות והספורט

תחילת שנת הלימודים הראשונה/ השנייה (בתואר של 3 שנים לפחות) – בסמסטר חורף

Eligibility Criteria:

Combat soldier (honorable discharge certificate in gold) or Combat support soldier (honorable discharge certificate in silver), up to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel (up to one year of service in the rank of Major).

Full and proper Military service.

Based on socioeconomic status.

Submission of scholarship application – within five years of discharge from the IDF.

Studies for a Bachelor's Israeli degree, full-time, at an institution recognized by the Council for Higher Education, or certificate studies (at least one year) at an institution recognized by the Ministry of Education / Ministry of Economy and Industry / Ministry of Labor and Welfare / Ministry of Tourism / Ministry of Culture and Sports.

The student must start the first or second year of study (for a degree program of at least three years) in the winter semester.
