BIU Prof. Doron Aurbach to moderate lecture of Drexel Prof. Yury Gogotsi
As part of its new monthly webinar series, the Bar-Ilan Center for Energy and Sustainability will be hosting Prof. Yury Gogotsi of Drexel University, who will speak on “MXenes as Ion Hosts for Energy Storage” on Tuesday, May 17 at 15:00 (Israel time). The renowned Prof. Doron Aurbach, of BIU’s Department of Chemistry, will moderate the lecture by Prof. Gogotski, who is the Charles T. and Ruth M. Bach Distinguished University Professor and Director of the A.J. Drexel Nanomaterials Institute at Drexel University.
The monthly Webinar Series aims to promote international research and development in the global field of energy by focusing on pedagogical and interdisciplinary lectures. This cross-disciplinary webinar series is an excellent opportunity for graduate students and faculty members across Israel to get an exciting overview of specific research topics related to energy and sustainability and might open new directions for collaborations in future research. The monthly 45 minutes webinar talks will be followed by Q&A sessions where all the participants can ask questions to the speaker.
